The 3rd Raintown Film Festival will be held from 4-6 September 2026 at Paragon Cinemas Taiping Mall.
Over the course of the festival's second year in Taiping, the event presents 4 feature films shot in Taiping - "Circus of Life", "Goodbye Boys", "Men Who Save the World", and "Tomorrow, Tomorrow, Tomorrow...and Tomorrow" - alongside alongside 20 shortlisted short films entries from the Raintown Short Film Competition.
The programme also includes a film talk on Taiping Trong SJK(C) Aik Hua and immersive guided tour of Maxwell Hill (Bukit Larut), offering a unique opportunity to experience Malaysian cinema and the cultural charm of Taiping from screen to street..
