While We're Young

Josh and Cornelia, a married couple in their mid-forties who do not have any children, start to feel left out after realising that their other friends are already having children. In comes a young hipster couple, Jamie and Darby, who soon catches their attention. As the older couple gets to know the younger couple better, they start to hang out and get reminded of what it`s like to be young again.

The Good, the Bad and the Young:

• The storyline is funny and interesting, as it concerns the generation gap but not in a way usually seen.

• The acting is great, especially Ben Stiller and Naomi Watts in their middle-aged couple roles.

• This is one of the most likeable Noah Baumbach films to date, with a funnier and more rounded storyline.

Trivia:

• James Franco, Greta Gerwig and Cate Blanchett all had to leave the project due to conflicting schedules.
