The Good, the Bad and the Designated Ugly Fat Friend:

• A modern teen flick that reflects today's modern society and technology which many teenagers will find relatable.

• The film is like the modern version of "Clueless".

• The film has created a new label, DUFF which many did not realise but know that it actually exist - it usually applies to the less pretty but nice friend who plays the supporting role, and this film brings forth that role as the main character.

• Even though the film is a typical teen flick with familiar characters from other movies, it is still likeable and entertaining due to the smartly written dialogues.


Trivia:

• Mae Whitman is actually nine years older than her co-star Bella Thorne in real life, but in the film, they are classmates.
