When Visu meets Madhumitha (Aishwarya Rai), they quickly fall in love and plan to marry. But the sweethearts hit a snag in their impending nuptials when Visu`s father, Rajamani object because Visu has a twin brother, Ramu, and their father only wants his twin sons to marry only twin sisters. A solution is easily arrived at when Visu introduces his brother to his bride`s twin sister - who is actually Madhumitha in disguise. Mayhem ensues when Ramu unwittingly falls in love with his brother`s girlfriend. This romantic comedy is written and directed by S. Shankar and produced by Ashok Amritraj and Murali Manohar. The film stars Prashanth and Nassar in a double role along with Aishwarya Rai in the lead roles. The film`s background score and soundtrack are composed by A.R. Rahman.
