Wealthy businessman Raichand is an orthodox Indian who would like his two sons to live together with him and his wife, and get married to girls of his choice. Even though the elder son, Rahul, is adopted, Raichand loves him as much as he loves his biological son, Rohan. However Rahul falls in love with Anjali who comes from a poor family, and incurs the displeasure of Raichand. As a result, Rahul leaves the family home for London with his new bride. Raichand now focuses his attention on his younger son, Rohan, who is determined to bring Rahul and Anjali back home so that they can be a family again.
