Watch this if you liked: "The Devil Wears Prada"

"Confessions Of A Shopaholic" takes up the entire chick literature package. You get the complete works, "magic cards" (credit cards), colourful upscale branded clothes and accessories to match and a dashingly handsome man. Of course, let's not forget shopping, shopping, and more shopping.

It gives audiences a deeper outlook on malls and boutiques, expounding on the sweet truth (at least to this reviewer) that they are like men, except they treat you better. After all, malls can't hurt a shopaholic's feelings right? They might burn a hole through your pocket but that's the least of their worries!

Redhead Isla Fisher from "The Wedding Crashers" plays all round goofy, lovable Rebbecca Bloomwood who finds herself in great debt as the company she worked for closes down. She soon stumbles into a job as a writer at the Smart Savings company. Ironic, no? With luck, Luke the editor (Hugh Dancy), hires her and is somehow blinded by her lack of financial knowledge as she so smartly compares financial issues with cashmere outfits and pretty shoes. Surprisingly, her article becomes a hit and goes international.

Throughout the whole movie, you will see Rebecca employ all sorts of weird and wacky tactics to escape from the geeky-looking debt collector, overcoming her shopping addiction, and not to mention falling in love with her hot boss! One of the highlights is when the mannequins are brought to life and starts to coax Rebecca into their stores. The effects are stunning yet scarily realistic.

Isla Fisher is a very capable actress who played her part really well with a happy-go-lucky attitude, together with co-star Hugh Dancy who manages to maintain his British charm from his previous "Ella Enchanted".

Overall, don't expect to learn any life lessons in this chick flick, but there is a whole lot of light comedy to keep you entertained till the end.
