What would you do if Death was hunting you down and there's no stopping it?

All "Final Destination" films have surrounded itself on one concept, which is to kill people in the goriest and weirdest ways imaginable. If you are a fan of this franchise, you will surely be familiar with its storyline. After releasing three "Final Destination" films over a period of 10 years, "The Final Destination" continues its bloody concept with an added element, this time in 3-D.

As the story goes, Nick O'Bannon (Bobby Campo) has a premonition of a race car fatally crashing and instantly killing his friends in the most gruesome way. In the beginning, he decides to shake it off, but as the incident becomes a reality, Nick and his girlfriend Lori (Shantel VanSaten) must think of a way to prevent themselves from being Death's next victim.

Although the storyline is similar to its predecessors, audiences won't be bored watching this fourth instalment. It has what it takes to get you on the edge of your seat, making you wonder what unfortunate events will befall next onto Nick and his friends. From the beginning to the end, viewers will undoubtedly be entertained with many suspenseful, frightening and gruesome scenes.

You won't be seeing any mainstream Hollywood faces here as a majority of actors in this film carry a background in TV dramas and are fresh faces in the movie industry. Regardless of that, Bobby Campo who plays the lead as Nick should be highly praised as he gave the most convincing performance of all.

Even though "The Final Destination" offers nothing new to the franchise, except being in 3-D, nothing beats the core excitement in watching people get killed in various scenarios. That has been its strongest point in causing horror fans to stay loyal to the film franchise. "Final Destination" fans and also horror enthusiasts should give no excuse to miss out on this film, but be reminded that it is not for those below the age of 18 as the classification is given as 18SG.
