Watch this if you liked: “Superbad”, “Knocked Up”, “Role Models” and “The Hangover”

Oh no, another chick flick. Rests assured, this chick flick will be much different than the other chick flicks we are accustomed to watching.

Why so? Imagine "Bridesmaids" to be the female version of the first "Hangover" movie as the movie is filled with dark comedy just like Judd Apatow's previous movie "Superbad" and "The 40 Year Old Virgin".

The reviewer feels that the gags keep coming in some scenes which is truly done in the infamous Apatow style. With Saturday Night Live alumni Kirsten Wiig who acts and also pens the screenplay of the movie, does the film justice alongside Annie Mumolo.

As the most of the female cast of "Bridesmaids" have acted in comedic roles either in television or movies, their performances in the movie is rather believable. Maya Rudolph plays Helen the bride to be after her role in "Grown Ups", while Rose Byrne stars as the wife of Helen's husband to be.

"Bridesmaids" is a reminder that female writers can do a raunchy movie just like it's male counterparts. This is proved by Kristen Wiig and Annie Mumolo who penned the screenplay of the movie while providing the movie with genuine emotions relating to relationships.

Do give "Bridesmaids" a go if you want to give this a chick flick with a raunchy edge a run for its money as a female version of "The Hangover".
