Anees Bazmee the famed director of "Singh Is Kinng" and "No Entry", brings a fresh ensemble into his new venture called "Thank You", a film about 3 friends (Bobby Deol, Suniel Shetty and Irrfan Khan) that dabble with extramarital affairs to spice up their boring marriage life. Sneaking behind their wives who are played by Sonam Kapoor, Celina Jaitley and Rimi Sen respectively, the men are on a roll until a private investigator played by Akshay Kumar steps in. A series of mishaps and surprises soon start to take place, which ruins the perfect 'lifestyle' of the mischievous husbands.

Since the film focuses on its characters, it would be unfair to not mention the cast and their performances. Bobby Deol who's fresh out his last film "Yamla Pagla Deewana" has almost a similar type of role in which he excels at, Suniel Shetty's body language and comic timing in some sequences shows his growth as an actor and last but not least, Irrfan Khan as the sarcastic bully of a husband, scores the highest marks in the acting department. Not to be forgotten, Akshay Kumar who plays the private investigator cum marriage advisor provides additional delight. The scene where he teaches the three womanisers regarding their carnal instincts serves as the highlight of the film. Not much can be said about the female leads though, as they provide nothing more than being good supporting actors to the three hilarious males.

In regards to the plot, Anees Bazmee who's also the writer of the story has decided to venture deeper into the comedy by providing some fresh ideas instead of the same repetitive humour as seen in his previous films. The first half of the story starts decently well, but as the story progresses in the middle, it gets a little slow but thankfully manages to pick up towards the end again. Despite the unbalanced momentum, audiences will be kept entertained as the comedic timing is planned in such a way as to interject humour in between plot lines from time to time.

The cinematography of the film that was shot in Canada is impressive but definitely not the highlight of the film. Composer Pritam provides some mediocre but soulful songs like "Razia" and "Full Volume". Sonu Nigam's "My Heart is Beating" however, is one of the more redeeming tracks in Pritam's soundtrack album.

Overall, "Thank you" is absolutely an entertaining film from the start to end. With smart dialogues, good writing plot, wonderful cast and brilliant comedic timings, Anees Bazmee delivers a bucketful of laughs for the whole family to enjoy.
