Qiu Jin is regarded as the first female revolutionist in Chinese history and is revered as a national heroine in China today. Based on the story, Herman Yau`s martial arts actioner chronicles her adventures as soon as she (Crystal Huang) leaves home after a big quarrel with her husband.
Filem ini mengisahkan seorang wanita revolusi pertama dalam sejarah Cina bernama Qiu Jin (Crystal Huang). Kebolehan dalam bidang seni pertahankan diri, menunggang kuda dan memanah telah mengatasi abang-abangnya. Satu pertengkaran berlaku telah menyebabkan Qiu bertindak meninggalkan keluarganya. Memandangkan Qiu mempunyai minat mendalam dalam kebudayaan Jepun, dia telah menggunakan semua wangnya untuk belajar di Jepun. Di sana dia telah bertemu Xu Xi Lin dan mereka bekerjasama untuk revolusi di Cina. Walaubagaimanapun pada tahun 1907, revolusi mereka menemui kegagalan.
