One Direction fans are sure to scream with joy as soon as the movie starts. The 3D concert experience, especially if you're a fan of the artists, is like an experience like no other. Not only will you experience what it would be like to be up close and personal with them live in concert, you will also get to enjoy One Direction being themselves and their lives beyond the music.

Even if you do think you know everything about these boys like where they came from, their history and their quirks you might be surprised to see a few extra information from their family and even Simon Cowell. It felt like you were on a very personal tour of theirs and they were finally showing it to you, and it will make the fans feel absolutely at home with it.

For those of you who do not understand their appeal, let the reviewer break it down for you. The boys of One Direction are as lovable as other pop boybands when they were relevant like *NSYNC or Backstreet Boys, but none of the 90s pop bands had as much influence and appeal as The Beatles in the 60s which One Direction's success had been compared to. To the reviewer, they are the Spice Girls of this modern era.

No other boyband had made so many fangirls cry so hard before, and the proof is shown in the film. The crying and the screaming shown in the film were intense and it was kind of frightening to view on screen.

You will find it hard not to sing along to their singles like "Live While We're Young", "Little Things" and "What Makes You Beautiful", but you will also experience how they perform on stage up close. They have great voices and they do sound good live, probably even better than their studio recordings.

The 3D effects that fly up to you might have not even been needed, though, as the reviewer found it a little irritating to see flying rockets that excrete glitter for you when all you want to enjoy were the guys themselves.

The other things that made the film worth only a little less than 4 stars was that the film felt a little too long, and it wasn't really necessary to show everyone each and every country just to make every single fan happy because the countries that weren't a part of it (like ours!) felt a little left behind and a little bored that we didn't get to relate to any of it.

Despite the downsides to the film, it was still really enjoyable on the whole. The best parts were how the boys treated one another, their personal lives, and their personality and how much they appreciate each other's company. They were also hilarious together and the audience can tell that they had a blast performing as close friends.

Even if you try really hard not to show how much you love them in the theatre, you'll get caught laughing out loud at their antics. The film is something you want to enjoy with your friends who may or may not love them as much as you do. Even if you do go in there alone you might get to share your love for the boyband as much as the person next to you.

The concert movie is definitely something you should experience at the theatre with a wide screen so if you are a fan of the band, get out there, go buy some tickets and shamelessly rock out to Harry, Louis, Zayn, Liam and Niall as hard as you can.
