Nicole Kidman plays a Londoner who wakes up every day unable to remember anything about her life. She is told by her husband that she shouldn`t leave the house after suffering a trauma. The woman sneaks off to see a doctor (Mark Strong), who gives her a digital recorder to dictate her thoughts into, with the hope that she will begin to remember who she is. The technique works, although the woman comes to realise the man she shares a bed with is not her husband.

Seorang wanita London (Nicole Kidman) bangun setiap pagi dan tidak boleh mengingati apa-apa. Suaminya memberitahu dia bahawa dia tidak boleh meniggalkan rumah tersebut selepas mengalami satu trauma. Wanita tersebut menyelinap keluar untuk bertemu seorang doctor (Mark Strong) yang memberinya satu perakam digital untuk merekod fikirannya supaya dia ingat siapa diri sendiri. Teknik tersebut berjaya tetapi wanita tersebut mendapati lelaki yang tidur bersamanya bukan suaminya.
