Watch this if you liked: "Yamla Pagla Deewana", "Dillagi" and "Apne"

In this comedic sequel that translates to "Nutty, Loony, Crazy" in English, Dharmendra reunites with his two sons Sunny Deol and Bobby Deol. This film marks their fourth collaboration together after "Dillagi" (1999), "Apne" (2007), and "Yamla Pagla Deewana" (2011).

The film moves from Canada to London, with Dharam Singh (Dharmendra) and Gajodhar Singh (Bobby Deol) reprising their roles as conmen. This time, they aim to con millionaire Yograj Khanna (Annu Kappor), while Paramveer Singh (Sunny Deol) who is unaware of his father and brother's tactics, is forced to tag along them but he must make a choice to help or turn his family to the police.

Plot-wise, the film follows the same flow as the previous film, but the first had more story, more fun and more colorful characters. The change in directors, supporting actors and script has perhaps negatively influenced the outcome of the film.

The father and sons are still entertaining to watch. Neha Sharma and Russian-Australian model Kristina Akheeva (newcomer) is latest addition to the cast that provides some eye-candy. Diverse actor Anupam Kher and comedy king Johnny Lever give the audience some scenes to laugh out loud about but that is all. The characters that the audience will sorely miss are Kulraj Randhawa (Saheba Brar), Mukul Dev (Billa) and definitely Sucheta Khanna (Poli).

Unlike the first film, the songs for the second half are fewer in number and less impressing. Music director Sharib-Tosri heavily borrows the tunes from the first film and title song again, those of which are the only ones that shine. As for cinematography, setting the film in India and London is a decent choice and the effects (especially the fighting and comedy scenes), looks good enough to entertain the audience.

Overall, compared to the previous outing, the film is less entertaining but they make up for it in some ways. Dharmendra tickles the audience's funny bone with his antics, Sunny Deol with his fighting scenes and Bobby Deol with his charm. To fully enjoy "Yamla Pagla Deewana 2", it is suggested that the audience watch or rewatch the first one after watching this film.
