Three famous Korean short stories, "When the Buckwheat Flowers Bloom", "Spring Spring" and "A Lucky Day", are brought to life in this animated film. The first story follows an ageing market vendor who meets a young vendor and as he tells the latter tales of lost love, he comes to realise that he has a special bond with the younger man. In the second story, the master of a farm labourer promises him that he will marry the master`s daughter in return for his labour. After the master keeps putting off the wedding, he decides to challenge his master. The final story tells of a rickshaw driver who has to leave his sick wife at home as he needs to work. He begins to suspect his sudden good fortune when he receives an unusually big number of customers that day.

Tiga buah kisah pendek terkenal Korea, "When the Buckwheat Flowers Bloom", "Spring Spring" dan "A Lucky Day", diangkat dalam filem animasi ini. Kisah pertama mengisahkan seorang peniaga tua yang bertemu seorang peniaga muda dan mendapati dia mempunyai hubungan istimewa bersama lelaki muda itu ketika bercerita mengenai kisah-kisah cinta yang hilang. Dalam kisah kedua, tuan kepada seorang buruh ladang berjanji akan mengahwinkannya dengan anak perempuan tuannya sebagai ganjaran kepada kerjanya. Selepas tuannya sering membatalkan perkahwinan itu, dia bercadang untuk mencabar tuannya. Kisah terakhir mengisahkan seorang pemandu beca yang perlu meninggalkan isterinya yang sakit di rumah ketika pergi bekerja. Dia mula mengesyaki nasib baiknya apabila dia mendapat ramai pelanggan pada hari tersebut.
