Rent-A-Cat (JFF)

Sayoko is a woman with an odd occupation, she rents her cats out to lonely people. The reason she does this is to fill the empty hearts of lonely people. After losing her grandmother, Sayoko has been living all alone. However, she is actually not really alone, every nook and cranny of her house is filled with cats. Every day, Sayoko walks along the river banks with a megaphone and operates her rent-a-cat business.
Filem ini mengisahkan tentang seorang wanita yang mempunyai kerja yang pelik iaitu dia menyewa kucing-kucingnya kepada orang yang kesunyian. Walaupun sejak kematian neneknya, Sayoko tinggal bersendirian dan hanya ditemani oleh puluhan kucing yang tinggal di rumahnya. Filem yang diarahkan oleh Naoko Ogigami ini dibintangi oleh Mikako Ichikawa, Reiko Kusamura, Ken Mitsuishi dan ramai lagi.
