Determined to start a new life, single mother Sophia moves into an old apartment with her daughter, Helena. Everything turns out well, that is until Helena loses her baby tooth and starts to see strange visions and a mysterious figure, which she comes to believe to be a tooth fairy. She then collects teeth from other children at school, saying that she needs to give them to the tooth fairy. Worried with her daughter`s condition, Sophia learns that the apartment in which she had moved into has a dark and sinister secret.

Seorang ibu tunggal bernama Sophia telah berpindah ke sebuah rumah bersama anak perempuannya, Helena. Selepas beberapa hari, Helena telah patah gigi susu pertamanya dan mulai menantikan hari munculnya pari-pari gigi. Namun tanpa disedari, sebenarnya rumah tersebut mempunyai sejarah misteri dan hitam tersendiri. Makhluk yang dijumpai oleh Helena bukannya pari-pari gigi biasa.

The Good, the Bad and the Lost Tooth

• Imagine your fairytale fantasy character that you used to dream of as a child, which then turns out to be your worst nightmare - This is the premise of this film.

• The film has cliched plotlines with many plot holes piling up one after another as the movie goes on.

• The acting performance of both leading actress is considerably poor when compared to other horror film pairs.

• The film reminds the reviewer much of Guilermo del Toro's "Mama".

Trivia

• Helena, the kid in the story, has noticeably well-developed adult incisors, yet her mother in the film acts as if it is her first baby tooth that falls out.
