Watch this if you liked: 2007’s “Hitman”

The Good, the Bad and the Failed Agent:

• An unnecessary reboot that does not bring any improvement to its 2007 predecessor. The badly-written script translates poorly on screen. The many unintentional references to other movies ("Terminator", "Resident Evil", etc) make the movie seem like a cheap copy of more well-known action movies out there.

• With the movie consisting mostly of action scenes, this means the stunt doubles show up on the screen more than the main cast do, giving the cast very little room to really show their acting skills.

• The visual effects in the movie are surprisingly of low quality, despite Oscar-winning Industrial Light & Magic also being part of the special effects team.
