Loosely based on 1957`s "Our Sister Hedy" and 1961`s "The Greatest Civil War on Earth", this romantic comedy follows the Wong household, where the father acts as the glue that holds everyone together while Mambo, the protagonist and third daughter, tries to get her other sisters hitched.

The Good, the Bad and the Sisters' Bond:

• A heart-warming family entertainer that many can relate to, especially Asian families.

• Amazing chemistry among the cast and kudos to the smart and creative screenplay and also script.

• One letdown of the film is the obvious age gap between Moses Lim (65) and Audrey Luo (32) who play husband and wife in the film.

Trivia:

• The film is a project by Cathay Organisation marking the 80th anniversary of the film distributor and exhibitor.
