Undercover cop Kit becomes a junkie in order to catch Mr Hung, the mastermind behind a crime syndicate. When the operation goes sour and Kit blows his cover, his supervisor and uncle, Wah, decides to terminate the operation. When Kit disappears without a trace, Wah defies the order from his commanding officer and tracks Kit to a prison in Thailand. Thai police officer Chai becomes a prison guard in order to raise money for his daughter who has leukaemia. He`s assigned to keep an eye on Kit. Even though Chai and Kit are in opposing positions and they don`t speak a common language, Kit turns out to be a suitable bone marrow donor who can save Chai`s daughter. While Chai is determined to keep Kit alive, the warden wants him dead to ensure the smooth operation of the prison, which is the front for Mr Hung`s organ trafficking business.
Seorang polis Hong Kong, Kit, cuba untuk menumpaskan sebuah organisasi jenayah. Bagaimanapun, dia tidak mengetahui penyamarannya telah terbongkar dan saksi utamanya telah hilang. Organisasi jenayah tersebut kemudian telah menculik Kit dan telah menyumbat Kit dalam penjara di Thailand dengan menggunakan identiti penjenayah palsu. Chai pula seorang pengawal di penjara tersebut yang mempunyai masalah, di mana anak perempuannya menghidap penyakit leukemia dan Kit sahaja penderma yang mampu menyelamatkan anaknya. Chai kemudian telah mengetahui identiti sebenar Kit dan telah membantu Kit untuk melarikan diri jika dia bersetuju untuk menyelamatkan anak perempuannya.

The Good, the Bad and the Dire Consequences:

• Action is definitely aplenty in the film just as the tagline promises. While that is no doubt fun to watch, but when mixed in with the convoluted plot, the film becomes quite a task to watch.

• The film puts too much melodrama in the plot that is a little too heavy to be in an action-oriented film. The music used in some parts also makes the film more comical rather than dramatic, when it's the latter that's the intended effect the production was aiming for.

• Tony Jaa's Muay Thai skills are impressive as always and mash well with Wu Jing's martial arts skills. However, the way their friendship was scripted presented not much of a buddy feeling between the two main characters and this in turn will make the audience feel less empathy for them and less involved with the film.

Trivia:

• The movie is a sequel in name only, even Wu Jing and Simon Yam return as characters different from the first movie.
