Piku is a Bengali architect living in New Delhi. Her eccentric 70-year-old father, Bhashkor, is forever getting on her nerves. The two embark on a road trip after Bhashkor emotionally blackmails Piku. Cab driver Rana finds himself caught between the dysfunctional father and daughter as he drives them from Delhi to Kolkata.

Filem Shoojit Sircar ini mengisahkan tentang seorang gadis bernama Piku, yang merupakan seorang arkitek di New Delhi, dan bapanya yang berusia 70 tahun, Bhashkor. Hubungan mereka sejak dari dahulu lagi tidak sehaluan. Pada satu hari, kedua-dua mereka dalam perjalanan ke Kolkata menaiki teksi, dan pemandu teksi bernama Rana kemudian mendapati dirinya terperangkap dalam konflik anak beranak ini.

• Simple, heart-warming and entertaining story perfect for the whole family to enjoy.

• Perfect selection of cast who wonderfully delivers an outstanding performance which touches a chord in each one of us, and entertains us at the same time.

• The movie is slightly different than other Bollywood films as it doesn't have any song or dance sequence, which is kind of refreshing.

• The only music in the film is the background score which completely blends in the movie.

• The girl playing the harmonium spotted by Bachchan while cycling through Kolkata is director Shoojit's daughter Anannya.
