A disappointing school teacher, Neil Clarke, suddenly discovers that he has been granted the ability to do absolutely anything by a group of power-crazed eccentric aliens as an experiment. Clarke is having trouble dealing with his new found ability. Thus, he decides to seek help from his loyal canine companion, Dennis.

The Good, the Bad and the Absolute Power:

• The film is simple, relaxing and funny, and it is those kind of effortless film that pleasant to watch, so don't expect any wow factors in it.

• But there are moments when the chemistry between Pegg and Beckinsale that seem to be a little bit awkward.

• Though Robin Williams didn't appear physically in the movie, with his talented voice-acting skills as Dennis the dog, he managed to steal the whole show.

Trivia:

• This is Robin Williams' final film.
