The Wasted Times

Set in war-torn 1930s Shanghai, Mr. Lu is ambushed during a meeting with the Japanese army but is saved by Watabe, his brother-in-law, who sacrifices his life to save him. Mr. Lu`s family, however, ends up getting killed by the Japanese. After years have passed and the Sino-Japanese war draws to a close, Mr. Lu visits Mrs. Wang, the abandoned wife of his former boss. She tells him that Watabe is not dead and is actually a Japanese spy who is responsible for the deaths of his family members. Mr. Lu now searches for Watabe to make him pay for his sins.
Berlatarkan ketika perang di Shanghai tahun 1930an, Mr. Lu telah diserang hendap ketika sedang mesyuarat dengan tentera Jepun tetapi diselamatkan oleh Watabe, abang iparnya yang berkorban untuk menyelamatkan nyawanya. Keluarga Mr. Lu juga telah dibunuh oleh orang Jepun. Selepas beberapa tahun berlalu dan perang Sino-Jepun semakin berakhir, Mr. Lu melawat Mrs. Wang, isteri bekas majikannya yang terabai. Dia memberitahu yang Watabe tidak mati dan dia sebenarnya adalah pengintip Jepun yang bertanggungjawab terhadap kematian keluarganya. Mr. Lu kini dalam misi memburu Watabe untuk membalas dendam di atas kekejamannya.
