48-year-old Wataru Honjo works as a suit actor and is a huge fan of Bruce Lee. He is also the president of "Shimoachiai Hero Action Club". Even though he doesn`t have the typical body type for his profession, he has worked in the business for 25 years. Wataru doesn`t get along well with newcomer Ryo Ichinose, but an incident draws them closer to each other. After passing a Hollywood audition, Ryo decides to quit during the climax fight scene as he feels that it is too dangerous, and the role is offered to Wataru instead.

Filem ini mengisahkan tentang seorang pelakon lagak ngeri kostum berusia 48 tahun bernama Wataru Honjo. Dia seorang peminat Bruce Lee dan juga presiden kelab "Shimaochiai Hero Action Club". Walaupun dia tidak mempunyai susuk tubuh tipikal untuk pekerjaan sepertinya, namun dia sudah 25 tahun berkecimpung dalam bidang tersebut. Wataru tidak sebulu dengan pelakon lagak ngeri baru bernama Ryo Ichinose, tetapi satu insiden telah membuatkan mereka rapat. Ryo kemudian telah berjaya dalam satu uji bakat filem Hollywood. Ketika babak lawan dalam babak klimak, Ryo telah berhenti kerana babak tersebut terlalu bahaya. Pihak produksi yang mendapat tahu bahawa Wataru adalah pelakon lagak ngeri terbaik Jepun telah ditawarkan kerja itu.
