Kacper, a beloved high school history teacher, learns that he is slowly losing his eyesight. According to medical diagnosis, due to a genetic disorder, chances of him facing permanent blindness are high. Though he is heartbroken at first, he decides to keep his condition a secret from his bosses so that he can keep his dream job and help his students prepare for the final exams. The only one who knows about his condition is his best friend Wiktor. While fighting his fate, Kacper starts to become close to his colleague Ewa, and at the same time, he tries to help rebel student Klara, who hides a secret of her own.

Kacper, seorang guru sejarah di sekolah tinggi, mendapati dirinya perlahan-lahan kehilangan penglihatan. Menurut pemeriksaan kesihatan, ia terjadi kerana masalah genetik, peluang untuknya menjadi buta sangat tinggi. Walaupun dia patah semangat pada mulanya, dia kemudian ambil keputusan untuk merahsiakan keadaannya daripada pihak atasan supaya dia dapat mengekalkan kerja impiannya dan membantu pelajar-pelajarnya untuk peperiksaan akhir. Satu-satunya orang yang tahu akan keadaannya adalah rakan baiknya Wiktor. Ketika dia sedang melawan takdir, Kacper mula rapat dengan rakan sekerja Ewa, dan pada masa sama cuba membantu seorang pelajar bermasalah bernama Klara, yang juga menyembunyi rahsianya sendiri.
