During a band`s performance at a square in Osaka, a beaten young man suddenly rushes to the stage and starts singing. Shocked by the man`s action, the audience is soon enthralled by the man`s singing voice. The band`s manager Kasumi finds out that the man has no memory of his own life, so she insists that he joins the band as the lead singer. Kasumi then gives him a nickname called Pochio, short for "Pochi Otoko" which means "dog man". Everything seems well for the band and their performance is very well-received - that is, until Pochio begins to recall his dark and violent past.

Ketika sekumpulan pemuzik melakukan persembahan di Osaka, seorang lelaki muda yang dibelasah secara tiba-tiba naik ke pentas dan mula menyanyi. Terkejut dengan tindakan lelaki itu, penonton bagaimanapun terpukau dengan suara merdunya. Pengurus kumpulan muzik itu, Kasumi, mendapat tahu bahawa lelaki itu tidak mempunyai memori hidupnya sendiri, jadi dia telah mengajak lelaki itu menyertai kumpulannya sebagai penyanyi. Kasumi kemudian memberi nama panggilannya Pochio, iaitu singkatan kepada "Pochi Otoko". Semuanya berjalan lancar dan mereka semakin hari semakin terkenal - sehinggalah Pochio mula teringat kembali memori lampaunya yang mengerikan.
