A biopic drama movie directed by Jean-Marc Vallee and based on the memoir, "Wild: From Lost To Found On The Pacific Crest Trail". It is a chronicle of one woman`s 1,000 mile solo hike undertaken as a way to recover from a recent catastrophe.

Drama biografi arahan Jena-Marc Vallee berdasarkan kisah benar Cheryl Strayed. Pada usia 26 tahun, Cheryl memulakan kembara solo mendaki gunung. Dia memulakan kembaranya sebagai cara untuk menenangkan dirinya yang dilanda masalah. Ibunya meninggal ketika dia berusia 22 tahun dan keluarganya memulaukannya. Dia mengambil dadah heroin dan akhirnya diceraikan oleh suaminya. Kisah hidupnya ini telah menjadi inspirasinya untuk menghasilkan novel berjudul "Wild: From Lost To Found On The Pacific Crest Trail".
