In this sequel to 2010`s "Monsters", the story takes place ten years after the events in the first movie. It revolves around a soldier looking for his comrade as the Monsters spread worldwide and the US army struggles to keep them at bay.

The Good, the Bad and the Monsters:

• A poor and disappointing follow-up to one of the best low-budget film, "Monsters".

• You would expect that the film would deal with a lot of monsters due to its title, but there is very less interaction with the actual monsters and more on the people from the army.

• Despite being a sci-fi movie, the film looks more like a war film and the monsters seem to be getting in the way of that as they look more like the film's backdrop than the main attraction.

• The characters in the film are generic and do not give much impact to the film.

• The main actor from the first "Monsters" movie is signed on as an Executive Producer for "Monsters: Dark Continent".
