The Good, the Bad and the Mechanic:

• A fun and entertaining movie to watch, with Jason Statham back for more 'mechanic' action.

• Unfortunately, the storyline is subpar, not quite living up to its 2011 predecessor.

• While Statham is shining with his action star quality, his co-stars don't shine quite so brightly, mostly thanks to their two-dimensional characters, especially Jessica Alba who only gets to play the kidnapped love interest.

• Malaysian fans, however, would appreciate seeing martial arts actress Tan Sri Dato' Seri Michelle Yeoh making a cameo appearance in the movie.

• If you enjoy fight scenes where the main character has to improvise his weapons, using whatever he has on hand to kill the baddies, you'll enjoy this movie.

Trivia:

• This marks the second action movie for Michelle Yeoh for this year, after "Crouching Tiger, Hidden Dragon: Sword of Destiny".
