The Good, the Bad and the Rabid:

• The book is amazing but the movie doesn't quite capture the same feeling, despite having A-list cast like John Cusack and Samuel L. Jackson.

• The movie lacks the most notable and required pieces of the plot as around 40 per cent of the content and scenes from the book have been omitted out.

• The movie has been compared to the TV series, "The Walking Dead", however it still does not manage to match the hype the TV series delivers.

Trivia:

• This movie is John Cusack's third Stephen King movie and his second with Samuel L. Jackson as the pair also starred together in King's "1408".
