Adapted from the non-fiction book "A Long Way Home" by Saroo Brierley. Five-year-old Saroo accidentally boards a wrong train that takes him thousands of miles away from his home and his family. With no way of going back, Saroo faces many challenges and is finally adopted by an Australian family. 25 years later, he learns a new technology called Google Earth and is determined to find his long lost family with it.

• Gripping and compelling story that will definitely move you to tears with its whirlwind of emotions and drama.

• The whole film is phenomenal featuring a fantastic script, a luxuriant cinematography and stunning visuals, with great a soundtrack that complements the story.

• Hats off to Dev Patel who carries the flow of the film giving an emotionally transparent performance worthy enough to top his role in "Slumdog Millionaire".
