Emily moves to a remote home near an institution together with her brother Zack, who is diagnosed with a severe form of cerebral palsy, so that she can take better care of him. With the help of some of their friends, the pair cleans the house on the first day of moving, and while cleaning, they discover strange symbols etched into the boards on the windows. They clear away the symbols but soon realise that their action is a huge mistake. After that, one by one, the group of friends becomes victims of terrifying evil spirit that are haunting the cabin.

Emily telah berpindah ke sebuah rumah di pedalaman yang berdekatan dengan sebuah institusi bersama adiknya Zack, yang mengidap 'cerebral palsy', supaya dia dapat menjaganya. Dengan bantuan beberapa rakan mereka, kedua-dua mereka mengemaskan rumah tersebut pada hari pertama, dan ketika mengemas mereka menemui symbol pelik di papan jendela. Mereka mencuci simbol tersebut tetapi kemudian menyedari tindakan mereka adalah satu kesilapan besar. Selepas itu, satu demi satu rakan mereka menjadi mangsa roh jahat yang memburu mereka.
