Anna is a television news anchor while her husband Erik is an architecture professor at a university. Following the death of Erik`s father, the couple is left with the large house that Erik grew up in. Although Erik prefers to sell the house, Anna, on the other hand, wants to use this opportunity to live in a commune. With it being the trend at the time, the couple proceeds to invite a diverse group of people to cohabitate with. While being in a commune has its own hardship, Anna soon discovers a new one when she finds out that Erik has been having an affair with his student.

Anna adalah pembaca berita di sebuah stesen televisyen manakala suaminya Erik seorang profesor arkitek di sebuah universiti. Selepas kematian bapa Erik, mereka mewarisi sebuah rumah besar. Walaupun Erik mahu menjual rumah itu, Anna pula mahu menggunakan peluang itu untuk hidup dalam kehidupan berpuak yang menjadi trend ketika itu. Kedua-dua mereka mula menjemput beberapa orang untuk tinggal bersama. Anna kemudian mendapat tahu suaminya mempunyai hubungan sulit dengan pelajarnya.
