The Gift Of Memory (JFF)

The movie combines the stories of Toko and Tamaya. Toko is a university student working part time at a cafe in Kumamoto. She hires detective Tamaya to be her mother`s bodyguard when her mother starts being stalked by a suspicious man. Meanwhile, Tamaya`s story is about him and a fellow private detective, Tagami, who bump into a foreigner named Mathieu in the middle of an area devastated by earthquake. They learn that he is trying to deliver the ashes of his late wife to his father-in-law.
Toko adalah pelajar Universiti yang bekerja separuh masa di sebuah kafe kedai buku di Kumamoto. Diberitahu oleh rakannya yang ibunya telah diikuti oleh seorang lelaki mencurigakan, dia pulang untuk melihat ibunya kemudian melihat lelaki itu. Toko meminta Tamaya, seorang detektif persendirian untuk menjadi pengawal keselamatan ibunya. Sementara itu, detektif persendirian Tamaya dan Tagami bertembung dengan seorang warga asing bernama Mathieu di jalanan di kawasan bencana gempa bumi.
