Teenager Adam sets out on a quest to find his long-lost dad, but soon discovers that he is none other than the legendary Bigfoot, who has been hiding in the jungle for years to protect himself and his family from HairCo, a corporation that is eager to use his DNA to run scientific experiments. As the father and son pair starts to bond to make up for their lost time, HairCo is already tailing them via the traces that Adam left.

The Good, the Bad and the Bigfoot Junior:

• Mildly entertaining and very family friendly, the movie is suitable for young kids who aren't quite ready for more complex animation from Pixar or DreamWorks.

• For a small studio, the animation is quite good. The movie has plenty of colourful set pieces, unique and interesting animal characters, and fun action and adventure.

• Story-wise, the plot is quite predictable but since it is aimed at young children, it is enough to get them excited and entertained.

• The movie doesn't have a lot of witty dialogue as compared to most mainstream cartoons, but it does have a few pop culture references that the older generation can relate to.
