The Good, the Bad and the Korean Labourers :

• The movie has a strong patriotic element in it though it might not be the best entry in the war genre.

• It is still entertaining nonetheless considering that it is fictional despite being set against the backdrop of a real place and an actual chapter in World War II history.

• Which is why, the movie is very much similar to Quentin Tarantino's 2009 historical fantasy "Inglourious Basterds", and even borrows several elements from the movie.

• On the plus side, it is interesting to watch the comedic relationship development between the two main characters, along with the horrific conditions that they are placed in, making the story very realistic and relatable.

Trivia:

• So Ji-sub had a naked scene in the bathhouse, and he also had to fight naked wearing only underwear.
