Adam and Eva have been together for ten years, since law school. When Adam changes his profession to start a Thai boxing studio, he gradually becomes cold towards Eva. The couple eventually breaks up. Still not over the breakup, Adam gets drunk and sleeps with his student. One day, Adam stumbles across Eva`s private journal, titled "77 Heartbreaks", and finds out it refers to the 77 mistakes he has done towards her. He now searches for a way to reunite with Eva but it might not be so easily done, especially after his drunken affair.

The Good, the Bad and the Forgiving Woman:

• While Herman Yau is a great director, Erica Li's writing kind of ruined the movie.

• The film has so much typical, cheesy drama to the point that it gets annoying. But what's more annoying is Charlene Choi's acting.

• Charlene Choi plays the victim of the relationship while Pakho Chau is the jerk. But sometimes, you sort of understand why he's a jerk because the woman just can't stop nagging.

• Choi's character is not exactly likable in the movie, instead her love rival played by Michelle Wai has a much better character.

• Wai is realistic and convincing in her role, and she has a better attitude in the movie, so sometimes you can't stop but to root for her.

• Though the movie has a lot of cameos from famous figures like Anthony Wong, Kara Hui and Francis Ng, none of them can salvage this clumsy and annoying movie.
