Mrs. K is just a normal housewife living in a normal suburban home with her normal husband and daughter. One day, a sleazy stranger shows up and reminds her that she hasn`t always been normal. The man blackmails her with knowledge of her unseemly past. Seeing him as no threat, Mrs. K pays him no mind. In return, her daughter gets kidnapped and Mrs. K is forced to face the ghosts of her past.
Mrs. K cuma seorang surirumah yang tinggal di kejiranan biasa dengan suaminya dan anak perempuan mereka. Satu hari seorang individu misteri muncul secara tiba-tiba dan mengingatkan bahawa dia bukannya selalu normal. Lelaki itu mengugutnya tentang masa lampaunya. Anak perempuannya kemudian telah diculik dan kini Mrs. K terpaksa menyelamatkannya.

The Good, the Bad and the Extraordinary Mother:

• Story-wise, the movie kind of reminds you of "Taken", but it's just not as intense, yet, it is still fun with great action that appeals to fans of the genre.

• Knowing that this would be her last action film, Kara Hui gave it her all, making the film her best performance of all time in terms of action and emotion.

• Despite being in mid-50s, Kara proves that she still has it, with her solid acting as a mother with two sides, and amazing action sequences and athletic abilities.

• Although the plot can be a messy as the scenes are non-coherent, but Kara and Simon Yam who plays the antagonist, managed to hold the whole film together.

Trivia:

• Kara Hui has made it clear that this would be her last action movie.
