The Good, the Bad and the Independent Woman:

• In the Bollywood film industry, "Simran" is one of those rare female-centric films with independent female lead who needs no hero or love in her life.

• The character itself is amazing, thanks to the actress Kangana Ranaut, whose acting is very convincing and realistic.

• The movie is just a story about a regular woman and it doesn't treat the woman as a sexualised object like most films of today.

• Though the film is unique, it is not paced well, as the script is not constant and the story is all over the place.
