The Royal Exchange (LFF)

Set in 1721 during the time when the Regent of France is working on sealing the peace with Spain. To do so, he offers to the Spanish King a marriage between his heir, 11-year-old Louis XV, and the Spanish princess, 4-year-old Maria Anna Victoria. At the same time, his daughter, 12-year-old Mademoiselle de Montpensier will also be married of to the 14-year-old Prince of Asturias, heir apparent to the Spanish throne. While the exchange of the princesses has been carefully planned, things will not proceed as smoothly as hoped.
