Happa, a depressed middle age man, is part of an internet suicide chatroom called "Life Club". He and the other members plan to commit suicide together so he carries a 3 feet fireworks ball to a remote cabin, where he meets up with the others. When they find out the last person who`s joining them is a high school girl, Tsukiko, they try to convince her not to kill herself. Angry at the way they`re treating her, Tsukiko pushes the button, igniting the fireworks and killing them all. However, Happa realises he and the others become stuck in a time loop after that. They relive their last day over and over again, returning to the start every time they fail to save Tsukiko.

Seorang lelaki pertengahan usia, Happa, pergi ke sebuah kabin di pedalaman, membawa bersamanya bola bunga api berukuran 3 kaki. Dia mempunyai rancangan untuk membunuh diri bersama dengan rakan-rakan dari ruang sembang internet bunuh diri yang dipanggil "Life Club". Ahli lain datang seorang demi seorang tetapi mereka terkejut melihat orang terakhir, iaitu pelajar sekolah tinggi perempuan, Tsukiko. Mereka cuba meyakinkan dia supaya tidak membunuh diri. Tsukiko menjadi marah dan menekan butang untuk menghidupkan bunga api. Happa kemudian menyedari yang dia berada dalam bilik sama pada hari sama. Setiap kali mereka cuba tetapi gagal untuk selamatkan Tsukiko, mereka kembali pada permulaan.
