Based on a manga of the same name by Katsuhisa Minami, which revolves around an elite assassin known as The Fable. When ordered by his boss to lay low, the legendary yakuza hitman moves to Osaka and there, he learns how to live life as a normal man. He now goes by the name Sato Akira, while his partner is called Yoko. Together, they live new lives as a pair of brother and sister, with a pet parakeet and part-time work. Just when he is getting used to living a normal life, trouble comes looking for him. Without killing anyone, he must survive the life-or-death situation.

Berdasarkan manga oleh Katsuhisa Minami yang sama judulnya, filem ini berkisarkan tentang seorang pembunuh upahan elit yang dikenali sebagai The Fable. Apabila dia diarahkan oleh majikannya untuk bersembunyi, pembunuh upahan yazuka legenda itu berpindah ke Osaka, di mana dia belajar untuk meneruskan kehidupannya sebagai seorang lelaki biasa.
