Hungry Seagull (EFF)

This documentary focuses on the issues of overfishing of offshore fish and the pollution of the marine environment. Using a family of black-tailed seagulls to deliver its point, it follows the birds` struggles to find food in an environment badly affected by the issues. The newborn seagulls are still hungry, but the parents are unable to find more pelagic fish in the sea, molluscs and aquatic insects in coastal wetlands and estuaries that their species feed on.
Dokumentari ini memfokuskan tentang aktiviti-aktiviti penangkapan ikan yang berlebihan dan kesan pencemaran terhadap hidupan marin. Ia memaparkan kehidupan sepasang burung camar ekor hitam yang ingin memberi makan kepada anak mereka yang baru menetas dan kelaparan. Mereka cuba mencari makanan, iaitu spesies ikan-ikan pelagik, moluska, dan serangga-serangga air di kawasan tanah lembap dan muara pantai. Walau bagaimanapun, aktiviti penangkapan ikan yang berlebihan dan pencemaran mengakibatkan hidupan marin terancam dan ikan-ikan kecil yang berada di bawah permukaan air semakin berkurangan.
