This short film highlights how climate change has affected rain patterns and soil fertility in a faraway village in rural central Afghanistan. It is shown through a young woman`s life in the village. As dawn breaks, she can be seen milking a goat, her young son helping her by holding the goat`s horns. They will have to finish milking the flock of goats and sheep before the little boy can take them to the mountains to graze all day long. Quruti is one of the popular meals in Afghanistan and she often cooks it, but for some years, she and others have been making it less and less. It`s because the mountain pastures have dried up and now they struggle to feed their animals.

Filem pendek ini memberi pencerahan tentang bagaimana perubahan iklim telah menjejaskan kitaran hujan dan kesuburan tanah di sebuah kampung yang terletak jauh di pertengahan kawasan pedalaman Afghanistan. Ia dipaparkan menerusi kehidupan seorang wanita yang tinggal di situ. Apabila terbit fajar, dia dilihat sedang memerah susu kambing, sementara anak lelakinya membantu memegang tanduk kambing itu. Mereka perlu menghabiskan kerja memerah susu kambing dan biri-biri sebelum budak lelaki itu membawa haiwan-haiwan berkenaan ke kawasan pergunungan untuk meragut rumput sepanjang hari. Quruti adalah makanan terkenal di Afghanistan dan wanita itu sentiasa memasaknya, tetapi tahun demi tahun, ia semakin jarang dimasak. Ini disebabkan padang rumput di kawasan pergunungan telah kering dan mereka bergelut untuk memberi makan kepada haiwan ternakan mereka.
