Tuã Ingugu (EFF)

This documentary highlights the issue of water pollution in Sao Paulo, which affects the Xingu indigenous who live in close symbiosis with water. Chemicals used in the agrobusiness industry and plastic have caused worrying levels of water pollution and rivers in Sao Paulo are perishing due to this. Aside from denouncing water pollution, the film also highlights the challenging prospects for both indigenous people and city folks` future.
Dokumentari ini memfokuskan tentang pencemaran air dan kesannya terhadap penduduk bandar dan orang asli. Keadaan sungai-sungai di Sao Paulo semakin tercemar akibat pembuangan sisa kimia dari kilang-kilang industri pertanian dan plastik. Selain penduduk bandar, orang asli di Xingu adalah yang paling terkesan memandangkan mereka tinggal berhampiran dengan sumber air tersebut. Salah seorang daripada puak orang asli itu dibawa untuk melihat sendiri keadaan sungai-sungai Sao Paulo.
