Second grade high school student, Minami Sakuta, is a member of her school`s swim club. Aside from swimming, she also loves watching anime, especially "Maho Sakan Otome Buffalo-Koteko". She befriends Shohei Moji, a member of the calligraphy club, when she learns that he also loves her favourite anime. During their summer vacation, Shohei joins Minami on her search to find her father. She is determined to find the man who has been long gone.

Pelajar sekolah menengah gred kedua, Minami Sakuta, merupakan salah seorang ahli kelab renang di sekolahnya. Selain berenang, dia juga gemar menonton anime, terutamanya "Maho Sakan Otome Buffalo-Koteko". Dia kemudiannya mula berkawan dengan Shohei Moji, seorang ahli kelab kaligrafi, setelah mendapati pelajar lelaki itu turut gemar menonton anime kesukaannya. Apabila tiba cuti musim panas, Minami nekad untuk mencari bapanya yang sudah lama menghilang diri. Ditemani Shohei, mereka memulakan pengembaraan baru yang mematangkan mereka.
