Needle Park Baby (EFF)

Set in spring 1995, when 11-year-old Mia and her heroin addicted mother Sandrine are relocated to the countryside following the closure of the Needle Park in Zurich. Mia continues taking care of her mother, but at the same time she spends time with a gang of local teenage misfits as well as her imaginary friend. She finally gains the strength to break free from her abusive mother thanks to these friendships.
