30 years ago, the Superhero Association, led by Superman Wang Chang Hai, fought off an alien invasion. Years later, Wang is specifically dispatched back to his hometown for training, where he teams up with the local branch director, Lao Xia, to form a superhero combat squad. On his first day in office, disregarding Lao Xia`s dissuasion, he targeted those with connections, embarrassed the former county magistrate, showing no regard for personal favours, only creating incidents. However, the proverbial `three fires` of a new official all seemed to backfire on him. Wang gradually realized that even Superman must learn to `toast` when he comes here. With Lao Xia`s help, Wang Chang Hai began to cultivate his political acumen and assemble a combat team.
