12 Dec – Raveena Tandon found herself having to clarify a recent issue that sparked because of her accidentally liking something on social media.

On 10 December, the actress posted a message on Instagram, which read, "Touch buttons and social media. A genuine mistake has been blown out of proportion. The like was made in error and something that I was not even aware of that had been pressed by scrolling."

"I sincerely apologise for any inconvenience and hurt it may have caused," she added.

It is noted that the said post has already been deleted.

The apology came after a Reddit post criticised Agastya Nanda, son of Shweta Bachchan, and Khushi Kapoor, daughter of Boney Kapoor and Sridevi for their lacklustre performance in Zoya Akhtar's "The Archies". The said post also mentioned that Raveena Tandon liked the said video.

Recently, a Bollywood gossip page has been sharing clips from "The Archies", which was released on Netflix recently, making fun of the young actors for their performances. It is noted that the movie was previously slammed for casting mostly sons and daughters of actors, sparking heated debate about Bollywood nepotism.
