30 Jun – It was revealed that "Hellboy" star Ron Perlman is set to join the "Transformers" franchise. The actor has been tapped to voice the character of Optimus Primal - the fearless leader of the Maximals - in the upcoming "Transformers: Rise of the Beasts"; which will introduce other new characters from the original animated series, "Beast Wars: Transformers".
