13 Aug - Hollywood is continuing on with their biopic craze by the recent announcement of another autobiographical film, this time about the beloved American celebrity chef, Anthony Bourdain.

The film, entitled "Tony", has already found the actor to play the travel documentarian in Dominic Sessa, who has been on the rise since "The Holdovers".

The movie, which will be produced by A24, is to be directed by Matt Johnson of "Blackberry" fame, with a script from Todd Bartels and Lou Howe.

Bourdain, who was known around the world for many food-related travel shows like Travel Channel's "No Reservations" and CNN's "Parts Unknown", passed away in 2018 while working for the latter show.

The death was ruled to be suicide after he was found hanging in his room at Le Chambard hotel in Kaysersberg in northeastern France.

He was 61.
